Before you start

  • The external integration feature is enabled and provider credentials are approved

Steps

Confirm the supported scope

Check whether the connector is read-only, synchronized or able to write. Availability differs by deployment and provider.

Expected result: The team knows exactly what data may move.

Connect with least privilege

Use a dedicated business account and grant only required permissions. Never place provider secrets in notes or chat.

Expected result: The connection succeeds without unnecessary privileges.

Verify before enabling writes

Run a read or test sync and compare source records. SQL Accounting quotation and sales-order writes are not currently open.

Expected result: No team assumes a locked write path is active.
